TAMPA, FL – Horror struck a newlywed couple from Florida during their Caribbean honeymoon when the groom, Nate Kuhlman, met an untimely death in a waterskiing accident. Nate and Mariana Kuhlman had just celebrated their marriage on October 28 and had embarked on their honeymoon to St. Lucia before being confronted by unexpected loss.
Heather Kuhlman, Nate’s grieving mother, shared her profound sadness on Facebook, emphasizing the unpredictable nature of life and the overwhelming shock of her son’s demise. She expressed gratitude for the support they had received from their community and acknowledged the pain shared by all. Heather added, “My son is in the arms of Jesus.”
Details surrounding Nate’s fatal accident were not disclosed, but Heather mentioned that she had traveled to St. Lucia and offered her prayers before an autopsy was performed.
Nate and Mariana’s sudden tragedy has spurred the creation of two GoFundMe campaigns, collectively raising over $100,000. The funds are intended to assist the grieving families with funeral expenses, travel costs, and other unforeseen financial burdens. One campaign, titled “Nate Kuhlman,” praised Nate as a loving husband, friend, son, and brother in Christ, known for his kindness and adventurous spirit. The other fundraiser, named “Kuhlman Family,” sought support for covering immediate expenses related to travel, accommodations, meals, and funeral arrangements.
