SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA – A grim scene unfolded in a mobile home park in San Juan Capistrano. A homicide investigation is now underway as a result of the discovery of two elderly individuals and a dog found dead. The investigation started when Orange County deputies responded to a domestic violence call that took place early on Tuesday morning at a residence on the 32000 block of Alipaz Street.
During the incident, authorities received a distressing report of a blood-covered man in the area. He was chasing a maintenance worker near a local bike trail on Calle Arroyo.
Deputies encountered the 41-year-old man, resulting in a confrontation that led to the suspect being shot and subsequently hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
Back at the mobile home, officials discovered the bodies of a 77-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman, alongside a deceased dog. The exact nature of their relationship, as well as their relationship to the suspect, remains unclear as investigations continue.
