Gang of thieves steal at least 12 luxury cars

There were nearly 12 thieves who broke into a car dealership in the Chicago area this week and stolen six luxury vehicles.

According to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, the robbery occurred in the 1600 block of South Roselle Road in unincorporated Schaumburg on Jan. 9.

There is surveillance video from the business that appears to show a single car pull up to the business and several suspects get out. One uses an object to break a window and get inside where the keys for the vehicles were stored.

Following that, several vehicles appeared to take off.

Authorities said the vehicles taken were a blue 2014 Audi S7, two blue 2017 Audi Q7s, a blue 2018 Mercedes Benz GLS 450, and a white 2019 Mercedes Benz E300, as well as a black 2014 Maserati Ghibli.

After recovering the abandoned 2014 Audi S7, Oak Park police turned it over to investigators.
