FBI hunting mother suspected of killing two children

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Authorities are in an active search for Kimberlee Singler, a 35-year-old woman from Colorado Springs, who is implicated in a horrific crime involving her own children. Singler is suspected of murdering her two youngest children and attempting to murder a third.

An arrest warrant, which includes charges of murder, attempted murder, and child abuse, was issued by the city for Singler. She was last seen on December 24, and the warrant was issued on December 26.

The case emerged when police responded to a reported burglary at an apartment complex on December 19. There, they discovered a gruesome scene: the bodies of Singler’s two children, a nine-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy.

Singler and her eldest daughter, aged 11, were found injured at the scene and were rushed to local hospitals for medical attention.

As investigators delved deeper into the case, they determined that the burglary report was baseless. The FBI is now assisting in the search for Singler, as stated by Vikki Migoya, a representative of the FBI’s Denver office.
