ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Atlantic City Police in New Jersey are currently investigating an unnerving discovery of a woman’s body near the Flagship Resort. The body was found around 5:30 a.m. Thursday. Guests at the Flagship Resort woke up to the unsettling sight of a police investigation on the unit block of N. Maine Avenue, right behind the resort. Local residents were also left in shock by the incident.
Adding to the mystery of the situation was the fact that the deceased woman was found in a bathing suit. This detail baffled Talira Williams, an Atlantic City resident, who remarked on the oddity of the circumstance, given the impracticability of swimming in that particular area.
According to local news sources, resort security has provided surveillance footage to the police. The footage reportedly shows an automobile arriving at around 2 a.m., discharging three women and two men. The group is seen heading towards the boardwalk. However, only the two men are seen returning to the vehicle twenty minutes later, promptly driving off. The mystery deepens as it remains uncertain whether the deceased woman was a part of this group.
While the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death remain unclear, the incident continues to rattle local residents and vacationers. As of now, the woman’s identity remains undisclosed, and her cause of death is yet to be determined by the authorities.
