DEVIL’S DEN STATE PARK, AR – Arkansas State Police are actively investigating a double homicide that occurred earlier today at Devil’s Den State Park. Authorities are still searching for the suspect, who remains at large.
Police confirmed that two individuals, a 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, were found dead on a park trail shortly after 2:30 p.m. The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the identities of the victims have not been released.
The suspect is described as a white male, last seen wearing dark shorts, a dark tank top, and weightlifting gloves. He was reportedly driving a black Mazda four-door sedan with the license plate obscured by tape.
Investigators believe the suspect’s vehicle may have been traveling on State Highway 170 or State Highway 220, both of which are in proximity to the park.
