Shots fired at shopping center, manhunt underway for the shooter

DEKALB COUNTY, GA- A manhunt is underway for a shooter who critically injured a man at a shopping center. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Wednesday at the Suburban Plaza. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a 20-year-old male victim inside a Ross store within the plaza. The victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel promptly transported him to a nearby hospital. According to the latest updates, the victim is expected to pull through.

The aftermath of the shooting was a chilling sight, with a blood trail leading from the store’s entrance to the women’s shoe section. Davis Hall, a witness who was at the plaza’s bowling alley when the shooting occurred, recounted the terrifying experience. He and his friends were informed over the loudspeaker about the gunfire and were kept inside the bowling alley for approximately two hours.

Hall also revealed that several vehicles, including a friend’s car, had been struck by bullets. The shooter’s reckless gunfire damaged at least nine vehicles, the Ross store’s doors and windows, an OB/GYN office, and a dentist’s office within the plaza. Hall expressed his disbelief at the seemingly random act of violence, stating that the bullets were lodged as high as 20 feet up in the buildings.

Hall was left shaken by the senseless act of violence and the destruction it caused. He expressed his bewilderment at the motive behind such an act, stating he couldn’t understand the reasoning the gunman had. The identity of the victim and any potential suspects have yet to be disclosed by the police. However, investigators currently do not believe that the shooting was a random act of violence.
