Man shot multiple times while driving on freeway

FOXBORO, MA – Authorities have released the identity of a man fatally shot while driving on I-95 in Foxboro, appealing to the public for assistance in locating the vehicle involved in the incident.

Late Saturday night, the operator of a dark-hued sedan reportedly discharged multiple rounds at a Mercedes on the southbound side of I-95. The Mercedes’ driver, revealed to be 37-year-old Justin Parker of North Attleboro, was struck by the gunfire and subsequently crashed into the central guard rail. Parker was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

In the aftermath of the shooting, Parker’s vehicle also collided with a Lexus SUV, forcing it off the road and into a nearby wooded area. The family traveling inside the SUV sustained injuries, though none were deemed life-threatening.

A neighbor of Parker’s, who requested anonymity, expressed deep sorrow over the incident. “He was a good family man and never caused any problems. We would always greet each other when passing by. It’s a terrible thing that has happened, and he will be in my prayers. I hope they find the person responsible,” the neighbor said.

The reason behind the shooting is currently under investigation. When questioned about the possibility of road rage being a factor, State Police did not provide a response.
