Man dies after crashing into White House

WASHINGTON, DC – A fatal incident occurred late Saturday evening when a man drove his vehicle into the outer perimeter gate of the White House complex. The authorities are treating the incident as a traffic accident and not as a security breach. At the time of the incident, President Joe Biden was away in Delaware for the weekend. The Secret Service has confirmed that there was no threat to the White House.

The identity of the deceased male driver has not been released. The man was found dead in his vehicle shortly before 10:30 p.m., as per a statement from the Secret Service.

The Metropolitan Police Department reported that the vehicle collided with a security barrier at the junction of 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Police responded to the incident at 10:46 p.m., and confirmed that the male driver was pronounced dead at the scene, following the collision with the security barrier of the complex.

The Secret Service has reassured the public that appropriate security measures were implemented following the incident. Both the Secret Service and the Metropolitan Police Department are continuing their investigation into the incident.
