MIAMI, FL – Orlando Ramirez made his initial court appearance in Miami today, facing multiple charges related to a complex search and seizure conspiracy. The indictment alleges that Ramirez solicited violence against Alex Vega, a former business partner.
Ramirez’s attorney, David Capila, emphasized his client’s cooperation with the investigation, which has been ongoing for over two years. “We are fully prepared to fight these charges and prove his innocence in court,” Capila stated.
Earlier in the day, law enforcement officials conducted a search of Ramirez’s business premises in Doral. While authorities remained tight-lipped about the specifics, they confirmed that the search was part of the broader investigation into the conspiracy.
The case dates back to 2019 when Alex Vega was ambushed and shot multiple times by a masked assailant as he pulled into his garage in his black Range Rover. Surveillance footage captured the shooters and their getaway driver, who have since been convicted.
Family members revealed that Vega and Ramirez were once partners at Exclusive Motoring before Vega branched out to start his own business. The Vega family has expressed gratitude to the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the FBI for their relentless efforts in pursuing justice.
The intricate web of business rivalry and violence has left the community in shock, as many are eager to see how the legal proceedings will unfold.
