Boy, 15, killed in Chicago drive-by shooting

A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot in Little Village on Sunday afternoon, prompting an investigation by the Chicago police. The incident occurred around 4:11 p.m.

The shooting was initiated when the victim was approached by a white-colored vehicle.

According to the Chicago Police Department, someone inside the vehicle opened fire on the boy. The gunfire subsequently hit him in the chest.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
