Armed Clerk Fends Off Robbery Attempt in Sugar Land, Texas

A dramatic scene took place at the WB Food Mart in Sugar Land, Texas, when a would-be robber entered the convenience store with a handgun, fired a round into the ceiling, and pointed the weapon at the clerk. The quick-thinking clerk reached for their own gun and fired back in self-defense. The suspect fled the store, firing one final round in the clerk’s direction. Luckily, neither the suspect nor the clerk were injured, as the cash register was protected by a bulletproof enclosure.

Security cameras captured footage of the suspect as they made their escape through the parking lot. The Sugar Land Police Department is now searching for a Black man in his 20s, described as wearing black pants, a black hoodie, a white T-shirt, and a black face covering.
