Arm and torso of missing teen found on beach

MILWAUKEE, WI – More human remains believed to be of Sade Robinson, a 19-year-old Wisconsin woman, were discovered on Thursday. Authorities say Robinson was dismembered and killed following a date with the now-suspect.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office reported that a civilian found what appeared to be a torso and an arm on a secluded beach near Lake Michigan. The remains were located approximately a quarter-mile from an apartment complex. Experts believe these remains washed ashore.

Maxwell Anderson, 33, from Milwaukee, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilation of a corpse, and arson in relation to Robinson’s killing. The pair had reportedly had a date on April 1, according to a criminal complaint that was filed by the sheriff’s office.

Following the date, body parts presumed to be Robinson’s have been found in several locations. A severed right leg, possibly Robinson’s, was found near the water’s edge at Warnimont Park in Cudahy on April 2. Multiple other unidentified remains were found in different parts of Milwaukee during the first week of April.

A human foot, which appeared to match the right leg, was found near train tracks on April 6. While it is suspected the remains belong to Robinson, official confirmation is pending.

Anderson was arrested on April 4 during a traffic stop and is currently lodged at the Milwaukee County Jail on a $5 million bail. A preliminary hearing for Anderson is scheduled for Monday.

As authorities continue to investigate Robinson’s death, the sheriff’s office has arranged for a sonar detection boat to search Lake Michigan for any additional remains.
