Arizona man allegedly beat his girlfriend causing her death

On January 23rd, the Chandler Police Department in Arizona apprehended Jesus Gonzalez, a 23-year-old man from Chandler, on a charge of second-degree homicide.

This stemmed from an incident on December 3rd, when police were called to West Lemon Tree in Chandler in response to reports of an individual not breathing.

When they arrived, they found the body of a 23-year-old woman. An initial inquiry indicated that Gonzalez, the victim’s boyfriend, was aware of the woman’s death but had neglected to inform the authorities.

Originally, Gonzalez was arrested for the misdemeanor charge of not reporting her death.

However, following an autopsy and further investigation, it was determined that the incident was a domestic violence homicide. After a subsequent interview with police, it was confirmed that Gonzalez was responsible for the woman’s death.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
