LOS ANGELES, CA – A daring midday heist took place on a Los Angeles freeway when a group of masked culprits targeted another motorist, using extreme measures that seemed straight out of a movie. The incident, which was caught on camera by a nearby driver, unfolded on the I-10 freeway near Arlington Avenue.
Around 1:30 p.m., an onlooker recorded a Dodge Grand Caravan chasing a black Alfa Romeo. The videographer attempted to get closer but found himself falling behind the high-speed chase. The dramatic pursuit reached a climax when the Dodge minivan forcefully collided with the Alfa Romeo, sending it into the freeway’s shoulder.
Emerging from the minivan, four individuals clad in ski masks and hoodies hurried to the Alfa Romeo. The vehicle’s driver was outside, on his knees, while the culprits hastily searched his car. Another man, in a red Ford Mustang that appeared to have also been hit, was seen filming the unsettling scene with his mobile.
Bystanders watched in shock and slowed their vehicles to grasp the unfolding chaos. Merely moments after the initial confrontation, the four assailants made a swift escape in a white Chevrolet Malibu with darkly tinted windows.
Law enforcement sources confirmed the suspects were not only armed with firearms but also equipped with tools like hammers and crowbars. The California Highway Patrol Officer Roberto Gomez has classified the incident as a vehicular assault combined with an armed robbery. While details about the victim remain confidential, local authorities have encouraged witnesses or those with information to come forward.
