Young Man Killed in Deadly Shooting Outside of Apartment Complex

One person was killed and two other people were injured during a shooting. The incident took place outside of an apartment complex in Northeast Baltimore.

Shots were fired shortly before 6 p.m. at the Sinclair Gates Apartments on Bowley’s Lane. When police arrived, they found three males with gunshot wounds aged 21, 18, and 19. The 21-year-old victim ran inside an apartment unit before he died, while the other two were taken to the hospital where they are in stable condition.

Baltimore Police commissioner Michael Harrison called the shooting “totally unacceptable.” He expressed his condolences for the victim’s family and wished for a quick recovery for the injured.

He also added that someone had decided to resolve the conflict by firing a firearm, which had resulted in the death of one person and the injury of two others. Fortunately, more individuals were not hit.
According to police, an officer was on patrol at the apartment complex when the shooting occurred.

The officer heard gunfire and saw individuals running, including an unidentified male suspect who was in a shooting stance when he was discharging a firearm. Unfortunately, the officer was too far away at the time to arrest the suspect.

The suspect is currently being sought by the police, who described him as an unidentified male. The commissioner said there were many people outside during the shooting, but it was not clear whether the victims were specifically targeted or were caught in the crossfire.

The shooting is currently under investigation, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the police.
