Two dead after car collides with Amazon van

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – A deadly vehicle collision claimed the lives of a man and woman on Sunday morning in Huntington Beach, California. The accident took place at the junction of Bolsa Avenue and Graham Street around 10 a.m., as confirmed by the Huntington Beach Police Department.

Details regarding the accident indicate that a gray Freightliner cargo van used for Amazon deliveries was driving eastbound on Bolsa, entering the intersection of Graham at a green light, when it collided with a southbound tan Toyota Sienna.

No information has been released by the police regarding whether the Sienna’s driver had run a red light at the time of the crash.

Tragically, the driver of the Sienna, a 61-year-old Garden Grove man, and his female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have yet to release further identifying details or determine whether the man was influenced by substances at the time of the accident.

The driver of the cargo van, a 39-year-old man from Fountain Valley, reportedly remained at the scene, offering his full cooperation during the investigation. He received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital. No additional information is available at this time.
