Toddler’s Remains Found in Texas, Father Accused of Her Murder

In a tragic turn of events, authorities have discovered remains believed to belong to a missing two-year-old girl in Pasadena, Texas. This tragedy comes five months after the girl’s mother was allegedly murdered by the child’s father in the same city.

Jyron Charles Lee, age 26, has been accused of killing his daughter, Nadia Lee, and his 22-year-old wife, Nancy Reed.

On March 20, the body of the young child was recovered from Vince Bayou in Pasadena. Investigators are currently awaiting autopsy results to confirm if the remains are indeed those of Nadia. Police suspect that Lee caused fatal injuries to Nadia on October 16, 2022, and he was charged with capital murder in December 2022.

Three days after the alleged incident involving Nadia, Lee was charged with the murder of his wife, Reed.

The investigation began on October 18, 2022. On that day, officers responded to an assault report at a Pasadena hotel. Police stated that Lee admitted to putting Reed in a chokehold during an argument in front of their two children, claiming he wanted to prevent her from hurting the children. Reed was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

During the investigation, authorities learned that Nadia was unaccounted for and declared her missing. Lee was subsequently identified as a suspect in the deaths of both Reed and Nadia.

Reed’s relatives had previously told ABC13 that they were trying to help her escape the allegedly abusive relationship.
