Texas mother accused of stabbing husband, driving children into pond

CARROLLTON, TX – In a shocking turn of events, a Texas mother is facing serious charges after she allegedly stabbed her spouse and drove her vehicle into a pond, with their three offspring inside, as per local law enforcement reports.

The accused, Wei Fen Ong, is now facing a slew of charges, including one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily harm, and three additional counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Law enforcement officials were alerted to a distress call on a recent Friday morning. The caller, a man residing in the 4400 block of Tall Knight Lane, claimed his wife had inflicted a stab wound on him. The man was promptly transported to a local medical facility by Carrollton Fire Rescue, where he is expected to recuperate.

In a related incident, law enforcement in the nearby town of Lewisville were alerted to a vehicle that had been driven into a body of water. The driver was identified as the man’s wife, and their three children, aged 8, 9, and 12, were discovered in the backseat.

Emergency personnel transported all four occupants to local medical facilities. Life-saving measures were performed on one child by a Lewisville officer, while another was revived while being transported. One child remains in a critical state, while the others are reported to be stable.

The sequence of events leading to the stabbing and the subsequent vehicular plunge are still under investigation. Eyewitnesses reported hearing a commotion prior to the stabbing incident.

The accused, Ong, is currently in the custody of the Carrollton Police Department and is slated for transfer to Denton County Detention. Her legal representation status remains unknown.
