The pursuit began when the Highway Patrol spotted the stolen car, which subsequently crashed upon exiting the 580 highway. Responding officers encountered suspects wearing ski masks, leading to a brief foot chase. The situation escalated when one suspect engaged in a physical altercation with a trooper, attempting to disarm them. Shots were fired during the struggle.
