PHILADELPHIA, PA – Authorities are intensifying their search for a missing 23-year-old woman who disappeared after leaving work for a break. Police are scrutinizing her social media presence and examining reports of potential harassment prior to her disappearance.
Kades Scott was last seen Saturday night around 9:45 p.m. at a nursing home in Chestnut Hill, where she had clocked in for a shift. However, her early departure from work raised concerns, leading her mother to report her missing the following day.
Detectives are particularly worried due to Scott’s normally active social media presence, which has been silent since her disappearance. Her phone has also been off or inactive since the weekend, adding to the mystery of her vanishing.
Captain John Craig of the Northwest Detective Division revealed at a recent news conference that Scott had informed family and friends about being harassed by unknown individuals via phone in the days leading up to her disappearance.
Scott is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. The police have conducted preliminary checks on her phone and social media accounts, both of which have shown no activity since she went missing.
Authorities are urging the public to provide any information that could assist in locating Scott. Despite the apparent lack of leads, police believe she may be in danger, given the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
The Philadelphia Police Department is asking anyone with tips to contact them at 215-586-TIPS. Even seemingly insignificant details could be crucial in the ongoing investigation.
