Pitbull attacks couple walking their Yorkies

POMONA, CA – A couple’s routine morning walk turned into a harrowing experience when they were attacked by a pit bull in their neighborhood. The incident, captured on camera, has left residents on edge and questioning the safety of their streets.

Brian Garcia and his wife were out for a walk with their three young children when a black pit bull suddenly charged at them. The dog, which belongs to a neighbor, bit Garcia on his right hand before anyone could react. “I saw it coming, but I was just trying to protect my family,” Garcia said, still visibly shaken days after the attack.

The attack was captured in a chilling video that shows the pit bull lunging at the couple mere seconds after appearing in the frame. Garcia’s wife can be heard screaming for help, and it took the dog’s owner about 30 seconds to intervene. Neighbors say the dog has been a menace for months, often roaming freely and causing fear among local families.

Residents of the neighborhood have expressed their frustration, stating that calls to the police and animal control have yielded no results. “It’s scary to walk down the street,” one neighbor said. “We have a lot of families here, and the next time it could be a child fighting for their life.”

Despite multiple complaints, the pit bull’s owner has not taken steps to secure the dog properly. Garcia mentioned that the dog can easily push open the fence surrounding its yard, making it a constant threat to anyone nearby. “We just want to feel safe in our own neighborhood,” he added.

The Humane Society and Pomona Police Department have yet to respond to concerns about the dangerous dog. Local authorities advise residents to report any similar incidents immediately to ensure community safety.
