One killed and eleven injured when bus crashed into building

SEATTLE, WA – A tragic bus crash in Seattle has resulted in one fatality and 12 injuries, as reported by local authorities on Saturday. The Metro bus collided with a building, causing a significant number of casualties.

The Seattle Fire Department has confirmed that among the injured, one individual is critically ill, while the others are currently stable. The individual who lost their life was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.

The unfortunate incident took place at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Battery Street. Reports from the scene indicate that another individual was trapped in a separate vehicle due to the collision.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, the section of the building that was hit by the bus was unoccupied at the time of the accident. They also confirmed that the structural integrity of the building was not significantly impacted.
