NYC man killed in road rage fist-fight

A road-rage dispute in Brooklyn earlier this month turned deadly when a man succumbed to injuries sustained from a punch that sent him sprawling to the ground.

Dexter Alexander, aged 31, is the prime suspect in the tragic incident that occurred around 11:25 a.m. on June 8th. According to law enforcement, Alexander landed a fatal blow to the face of the unnamed 56-year-old victim during the escalating feud.

The powerful punch caused the victim to lose his footing and fall, inflicting a significant head injury. He was swiftly transported to the Kings County Hospital Center, where his initial stable condition quickly took a turn for the worse.

Despite the hospital’s best efforts, the victim’s condition deteriorated, and he passed away due to the severity of his injuries the following Friday, as confirmed by authorities.

In light of the fatality, the city’s Medical Examiner’s Office determined the incident as a homicide. This prompted immediate action from law enforcement.

Subsequently, Alexander, a resident of the vicinity where the incident took place, was apprehended on Monday. Now, the suspect faces assault charges related to the fatal fight.

As of now, additional information regarding the specifics of the road rage dispute that led to the altercation remains undisclosed.
