Mom gets arrested at Disneyland in front of her kids

ANAHEIM, CA – A woman was recently arrested at the Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim on allegations of sneaking her two daughters into the park without purchasing tickets. The incident, which resulted in distress for her children, took place on September 25.

The woman, whose identity hasn’t been disclosed, was confronted by Disneyland staff after attempting to bring her kids into the park without valid tickets. She reportedly misled the park officials about her children’s ages, a strategy usually used to evade ticket costs. Notably, Disneyland only allows free passage for children aged under three when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

Authorities from the Anaheim Police Department reported that the woman was arrested for obstructing a peace officer as she refused to disclose her identity when asked. Their statement was followed by disturbing footage appearing on social media, which showed the woman’s dramatic eviction from the park as her children pled for help in Spanish.

Disneyland’s ticket pricing for adults starts at $104 while tickets for children between three and nine years old begin at $98. According to the police, this was not the first time the suspect attempted to avoid Disney’s ticket fees.

The case revives the ongoing debate over the high costs of Disneyland tickets, triggered by a 2022 TikTok video of another woman disguising her child as an infant to avoid payment. Many social media users have expressed mixed views on these tactics.
