As the final school bell rang and students began to exit, a man waiting to pick up his younger brother witnessed an alarming chase. He described the scene as reminiscent of a cartoon, with individuals weaving between cars in a chaotic pursuit. “It was like watching a real-life Tom and Jerry,” he said, still in disbelief over what had transpired.
The Memphis Police Department released a video capturing the unsettling event. The footage shows several individuals milling around in front of the school when a person in a red hat suddenly appears, fleeing from four men who are close on his heels.
