HERMITAGE, TN – A 20-year-old woman was tragically found shot in the head near a trailhead at Alta Lake Greenway, sparking ongoing investigations by Metro Nashville Police. Identified as Jamani Parker, she was discovered unresponsive by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees on Sunday morning.
Despite prompt medical intervention, Parker succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Preliminary findings from the medical examiner indicate a fatal gunshot, yet details about the lead-up to the incident remain scarce.
