Fatal crash as two cars fly off cliff

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – A tragic car accident occurred near the historic Cliff House in San Francisco, resulting in one fatality and another person sustaining minor injuries. The incident, which took place just before 5 p.m., involved two vehicles that veered off the cliff, plunging into the area below. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene along Point Lobos Avenue, where they found the wreckage and began their rescue efforts. Firefighters were seen pulling a dog from a bush near the crash site, confirming that the animal was associated with one of the vehicles involved.

Rob Bailey, a surfer who witnessed the crash, described the horrifying moment. “My friend and I were surfing when we heard a loud noise. We looked up and saw two cars flying through the air, about 50 feet high,” Bailey recounted. He noted that he usually doesn’t surf near the Cliff House but had decided to do so that day with a friend.

David Mendoza, another witness who returned to the scene to retrieve his parked car, expressed his shock. “I was hesitant to look over the cliff. A young man got out of a Tesla, and he seemed okay. People were saying that one car hit a parked vehicle,” Mendoza said.

Speeding has been a significant concern for residents and visitors in the area. Many have voiced their worries about the dangers posed by reckless driving along the scenic route. The crash has heightened these concerns, prompting calls for increased safety measures.
