Woman mysteriously disappears on a hike

In Maryland, a woman’s mysterious disappearance on Saturday evening has prompted a widespread search. The woman, identified as 37-year-old Rachel Morin, was last seen embarking on a walk on the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. The town of Bel Air is situated roughly 30 miles north of Baltimore and near the Pennsylvania-Maryland border.

The Sheriff’s Office took to Facebook on Sunday morning to share that Morin’s car had been discovered at the Williams Street entrance to the trail. They also provided a comprehensive description of Morin, who stands at 5’2, weighs 107 pounds, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen dressed in a blue or black tank top, black sports bra, black spandex shorts, and gray sneakers.

As of Sunday morning, there were no new developments in the case, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office told Fox News Digital. However, they stressed that the search operation for Morin is still very much underway and encouraged anyone with pertinent information to reach out to the detectives.

The Sheriff’s Office also urged those planning to use the Ma and Pa Trail on Sunday to stay alert and to immediately report any unusual findings to 911.
