MIAMI GARDENS, FL – Authorities are currently on the hunt for a suspect involved in a late-night shooting at a gas station in Miami Gardens that left two individuals injured. The incident, which unfolded at an Exxon station on Northwest 27th Avenue just north of the Palmetto Expressway, has left the community shaken.
Surveillance footage from the scene, obtained shortly after the incident, reveals a chaotic aftermath. One of the victims, seen wearing black pants, appeared to be severely injured, bleeding heavily from an arm wound while speaking with a police officer. The distressing scene escalated as the man collapsed, leaning against a gas pump before emergency services arrived to transport him to a local hospital.
Another victim, also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to a trauma center. One was transported by ground, while the other required airlift assistance. Despite the swift response, the suspect managed to flee the scene, leaving detectives to piece together the events that led to the violence.
The shooting occurred just before 8:30 p.m., and investigators have since cordoned off the area, including a nearby residential street, as they search for clues. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect escape, leaving a trail of blood from the convenience store door, which was later cleaned by workers.
