WEATHERFORD, TX – Authorities in Parker County have uncovered a grim story of robbery and murder, following the discovery of three bodies in a nearby creek. The Parker County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the bodies, found last week in Hood County, are those of three individuals reported missing earlier. The victims appear to have been targeted in a home robbery that ended in a triple homicide.
The investigation took a significant turn when a fingerprint at the crime scene led detectives to a suspect. This individual, once confronted, admitted to being involved and implicated two other accomplices. The trio is alleged to have plotted to rob the victims, seeking drugs and money from a home in the Granbury section of Parker County.
The victims, Tiffany Williams, her boyfriend David Walker, and their friend Robbie Head, were reportedly killed on Easter Sunday. A friend of the couple, Everett Williams, expressed disbelief at the tragic turn of events, attributing the crime to jealousy and greed. Tiffany Williams’ niece became concerned after visiting the home and finding it empty, with signs of disorder and the Ring doorbell missing. Her call to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation that revealed evidence of a violent crime, including significant blood traces and gunshot residues.
Three suspects have been charged with capital murder: 27-year-old Taryn McKnight, 45-year-old Dennis Alexander, and 19-year-old Barrett Copeland. McKnight, who cooperated with investigators, detailed the events of the crime, pointing to Alexander as the one who allegedly shot all three victims. Notably, Alexander was known to stay at the victims’ home occasionally, adding a layer of betrayal to the crime.
According to arrest warrants, after the murders, the suspects wrapped the victims’ bodies and transported them in one of the victim’s cars, disposing of them in a creek about a mile away. The bodies were discovered four days later, on April 24.
The suspects are being held in Parker County Jail, each with a bond set at $1 million. Authorities have hinted at the possibility of a fourth suspect, although no additional arrests have been made. As the community grapples with the shock of these events, friends and family of the victims are left to mourn the loss of their loved ones.
