HOUSTON, TX – An Amber Alert has been issued for 16-year-old Sky Miller, who vanished from Northwest Harris County. Authorities believe she may be with 22-year-old Nathaniel Young, last seen driving a black Kia Forte with South Carolina plates 317 BIA.
The teenager’s parents expressed deep concern for her safety, revealing that surveillance footage captured her walking with Young in a local park before getting into his car. The family fears she might be in danger, as she has not been seen since yesterday.
According to her mother, Sarah Miller, Sky met Young online through a social media platform. Concerned for his well-being, Sky offered him food, water, and hygiene products. Young, reportedly homeless, accepted her help, which led to their meeting.
Sarah managed to access Sky’s online accounts and discovered their communication on Discord. She contacted Young’s mother via social media, who confirmed that her son had met Sky but claimed he left her at the park.
However, discrepancies in Young’s account have raised alarm. He initially told his mother he left Sky at the park, but later claimed they took a short car ride before he dropped her off at homeāan assertion the Millers dispute.
Young’s mother provided his last known location in the Sam Houston National Forest. Sky’s parents have filed a report with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, which is actively searching for Young.
Sky had plans to visit a college the day after her disappearance, indicating she did not intend to leave home. She left without taking money, her ID, or any personal belongings, except for the items she intended to give Young.
The Miller family is organizing a search party to comb the national forest, hoping to find any trace of their daughter. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.
