Six shot and two killed outside nightclub

ATLANTA, GA – A violent incident erupted in an Atlanta nightclub, Elleven45 Lounge, in the early hours of Sunday, resulting in two fatalities and four injuries, according to local law enforcement.

The Atlanta Police Department reported that they were alerted to the incident just prior to 2:30 a.m. at the establishment, located in the city’s Buckhead neighborhood on Peachtree Road NW. Upon arrival, officers discovered six individuals with gunshot wounds. Medical personnel pronounced two of the victims dead at the scene, while the remaining four were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The victims, identified as three males and three females aged between 20 and 30, were reportedly involved in a physical altercation that escalated into gunfire. The deceased victims include one male and one female. However, specific details about the victims and the nature of the dispute have not been released.

Authorities are still in the early stages of their investigation and have not yet released any information about potential suspects. They did, however, emphasize that the incident was not random, but rather a result of a disagreement between individuals or groups present at the lounge.

The management of Elleven45 Lounge has expressed their cooperation with the ongoing police investigation. In a statement released on social media, the club announced that it would remain closed on Sunday out of respect for the victims and to facilitate the investigation.
