HENRY COUNTY, GA – A shocking incident unfolded on Friday afternoon when a suspect linked to a woman’s shooting death in a Macon gas station was found dead after a chase spanning multiple counties in Georgia. The chase culminated on McDonough Road at Greenwood Industrial Parkway in Henry County.

The suspect, identified as 44-year-old Wayne Anthony Fuller Jr., was a person of interest in the shooting of 51-year-old Cotina Louise Fuller. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Wayne Fuller was wanted for questioning in relation to Cotina Fuller’s murder.

The incident started to unfold when deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Fast Trip gas station on Riverside Drive. When they arrived at the scene, they discovered Cotina Fuller with a gunshot wound. The woman was pronounced dead on the site. It was confirmed that Wayne Fuller had a previous criminal record of domestic violence.

Swiftly reacting to the situation, investigators issued a statewide alert to locate Wayne Fuller. He was spotted by Spalding County deputies in his gold SUV, who promptly tried to pull him over. However, the suspect pressed on, driving north on Georgia Highway 155 until he crossed into Henry County.

Around 1:40 p.m., Wayne Fuller’s vehicle came to a halt near the intersection of Georgia Highway 155 and Greenwood Industrial Parkway. It was here that Wayne Fuller took his own life. Authorities confirmed that the event captured on video was not an officer-involved shooting.
