Pregnant Woman Stabbed And Set On Fire By Her Brother Just Days After Baby Shower

Authorities found a victim who had been set on fire on an unpaved alley on Tuesday. The victim of the murder was 8-months-pregnant with her unborn child, and had celebrated her upcoming birth just days prior during her baby shower.

Police officers and members of the Fresno Fire Department found the 26-year-old woman on the side of a dirt road with numerous stab wounds. The woman’s killer had stuffed her body inside of a garbage bin and doused her remains in gasoline.  Her body was severely burned after being set on fire.

Homicide detectives found a melted gas can just a few feet away from the victim’s body, and a witness reported seeing a suspicious person start a fire on the dirt access road. Several witnesses saw the fire, and several surveillance videos also show the suspect pushing a trash bin to the same location where the body was found.

Police have identified the victim as 26-year-old N-Kya Logan, and have obtained a search warrant for the residence where the victim lived with her mother and brother. However, the brother that she lived with is not considered to be innocent in her death.

Investigators suspect that the victim was stabbed numerous times by her brother, Aaron Dudley. Authorities arrested Aaron Jamal Dudley, on suspicions of her involvement in her murder. The 41-year-old man is now in custody for killing his own sister, murdering her unborn baby, and setting their deceased bodies on fire.

Police say Dudley was arrested as he tried to flee the scene of the crime. He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail.
