HENRICO COUNTY, VA – A police investigation is underway following the disturbing discovery of a man’s body in the yard of a Highland Springs residence on Sunday morning. Responding to a call regarding gunshots, police officers rushed to the scene located in the 100 block of S. Cedar Avenue.
They arrived at the scene just past 11:35 am, according to Lt. Jason Powers, a Henrico Police representative. Upon arrival, the police located the male victim’s lifeless body in a residential yard.
Lt. Powers assured the public that there is currently no widespread threat of danger due to the circumstances. Information surrounding the specifics of the shooting is being withheld at this moment.
