Mother arrested after leaving her 11-year-old in a hotel room with a dead man following drugs and group sex

PALM COAST, FL – A 32-year-old woman from Florida was taken into custody after reportedly leaving her 11-year-old son in a hotel room with a deceased man, following a drug-fueled rendezvous with two men. The woman, identified as Amy Kemper, confessed to law enforcement last week that she had consumed narcotics and engaged in sexual activity with two men at the Hammock Beach resort in Palm Coast, Florida.

According to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Kemper left her son in the room with a 60-year-old man while she departed with the other man on the night of September 9. She had noticed the man’s unusual snoring but did not act on it. Upon their return, they discovered the man unresponsive. Despite attempts at CPR, he was declared dead at the scene by medical personnel.

The Sheriff’s office also reported finding narcotics and drug paraphernalia in the room. Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly expressed his disappointment in a statement criticizing the woman’s decision to expose her child to such a dangerous environment. He lamented the fact that the child had to spend several hours alone with the deceased man before his mother returned.

Kemper was charged with child neglect without causing severe bodily harm and was taken to the Flagler County Jail. She is currently being held on a $15,000 bond. Meanwhile, Kemper’s son has been placed under the care of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
