Married couple charged with having multiple sexual relationships with teenage girls

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A South Florida couple faces serious legal troubles as new charges emerge accusing them of engaging in sexual activities with a minor. The charges against Isabel Estrin, 24, and her husband, Alvaro Jaramillo, 27, were filed following investigations that revealed alleged encounters occurred in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Estrin was arrested in Hallandale Beach and appeared in court at the Broward County Jail to respond to the accusations. The couple is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl, with similar charges previously filed in Miami-Dade County back in February. Prosecutors argue that the alleged incidents spanned multiple jurisdictions, involving the same victim and another 15-year-old girl.

The case unfolded after investigators uncovered communications between the couple and the 16-year-old on Instagram. The police report details that they met in person in December in Aventura, where they reportedly engaged in sexual acts with the victim and another juvenile. The report further states that the relationship developed into a dating context, involving numerous encounters among the trio.

Estrin’s attorney argues that the accusations are overblown and cautions that the arrest affidavit merely presents allegations that justify the arrest but do not encompass her side of the story. The legal proceedings will eventually bring her narrative to light.

During questioning, the couple allegedly admitted to being in a dating relationship with the minor, which included several sexual encounters. Hallandale Beach Police confirmed that one such encounter occurred in their jurisdiction, adding weight to the charges.

Attempts to speak with family members at Estrin’s listed address were unsuccessful, as individuals present declined to comment. Meanwhile, in court, prosecutors argued for a substantial bond, citing concerns that the couple targeted young females within a specific age range and allegedly provided drugs to the minor.

Both Estrin and Jaramillo are charged with unlawful sex with a minor, with bond set at $15,000. Jaramillo remains in custody at the Miami-Dade County Jail and is expected to be transferred to Broward County to face the charges.
