The Auburn Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who attempted to abduct a barista at the beginning of this week.
The suspect was captured on security cameras attempting to force the victim through a window using a looped zip tie.
Fortunately, the victim was able to resist and the assailant drove off.
He has a distinctive tattoo on his left forearm that appears to say “Chevrolet”. Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity is encouraged to contact the APD Tip Line at (253) 288-7403.
The APD is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect. All tips are confidential and can be submitted anonymously. Anyone with information is asked to call the APD.
