WEST PALM BEACH, FL — A man has been arrested after allegedly posing as a Chase bank employee and helping withdraw nearly $2,400 from an elderly woman’s account, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said the woman became suspicious during the alleged scheme and went to a local Chase branch to check her account. Bank staff told her that nearly $2,400 had already been withdrawn, according to a report published by WPBF 25 News.
