Man arrested in case of abducted girl

PHILADELPHIA, PA – In a night marked by swift developments, police have intensified the search for a missing 23-year-old woman, K to Scott. Authorities have located a car they believe is linked to Scott’s disappearance in East Falls. Investigators obtained a warrant to search the vehicle, which was towed away for examination.

Earlier, police arrested 21-year-old Keon King, charging him with kidnapping Scott. The arrest coincided with a search at an abandoned middle school in East Mount Airy, where investigators found some of Scott’s personal belongings. Despite these leads, Scott remains missing.

The car, a 1999 metallic gold Toyota Camry, was discovered in the parking lot of a condo complex where King’s family reportedly resides. Police believe Scott was in the vehicle at some point. The car’s heavily tinted windows have made it difficult for officers to see inside, making the warrant crucial.

King, already facing charges from a previous kidnapping case that was withdrawn due to a witness’s failure to appear, is now charged with two counts of kidnapping. Authorities are pressing forward with the belief that Scott is still alive, urging the public for any information.

The search at the abandoned school, located near Awbury Arboretum, was prompted by a tip leading to physical evidence, including a phone case and a debit card belonging to Scott. She was last seen on October 4th, heading to her job in Chestnut Hill.

Neighbors and Scott’s family have expressed deep concern, gathering near the search site. Community members, shocked by King’s arrest, are hopeful for Scott’s safe return. The investigation continues with police maintaining hope and urging community cooperation.

Police emphasize that finding Scott is their top priority. The investigation remains active, with officers working tirelessly to piece together the circumstances of her disappearance.

As authorities continue their efforts, they stress the importance of public assistance in locating Scott, who remains at the heart of this urgent investigation.
