Man and woman found dead in Baltimore home

A grim discovery was made in an east Baltimore home on Friday evening when police found two deceased individuals during a wellness check. The Baltimore City Police Department was summoned to a residence on North Collington Avenue following a call concerning the occupants’ welfare.

Arriving at the scene around 8:38 p.m., the police found themselves unable to enter the property and had to enlist the help of the Baltimore City Fire Department. Once inside, they found a 49-year-old woman and a man, whose identity remains unknown, both dead.

Both victims bore signs of trauma, suggesting they may have been involved in a violent incident. The exact cause of their deaths is yet to be determined, pending autopsies by the city’s medical examiner’s office.

The Baltimore City Police Department’s homicide detectives have taken over the case and are currently conducting an investigation.
