Jesse Jane, adult star and actress dead at 43

MOORE, OK – The adult film industry mourns the loss of one of its prominent figures, Jesse Jane, who was found dead in her home at the age of 43. Jane and her partner, Brett Hasenmueller, were discovered by the authorities during a welfare check initiated by Hasenmueller’s employer due to lack of contact for several days.

The timeline of their death remains uncertain. Initial reports hint at a possible drug-related cause, however, a thorough investigation is ongoing to ascertain the precise cause of their deaths.

Jane’s career in the adult film industry began in 2002 with Digital Playground. She gained notable fame for her role in Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge, a 2008 production with an $8 million budget, touted as the most expensive adult film ever.

Jane’s career wasn’t limited to adult films. She made a successful crossover to mainstream media with appearances in HBO’s Entourage and the 2009 film, Middle Men. Her vibrant personality landed her hosting gigs on Playboy’s Night Calls and Naughty Amateur Home Videos on Playboy TV.

Jane’s illustrious career earned her a spot in the AVN Hall of Fame in 2013. She retired in 2017, only to return briefly in 2019. Prior to her death, Jane had filmed appearances in upcoming films The Curse of the Zombie Pirates and Blackout Z. She is survived by her son.
