Hollywood heir arrested for gruesome murder of wife

LOS ANGELES, CA – A shocking discovery has led to the arrest of a Los Angeles man, Sam Haskell IV, whose roots are deeply embedded in Hollywood’s glittering history. His wife and her parents are mysteriously missing, adding to the intrigue of the case.

Early Wednesday, the LAPD responded to a call about a headless body found in a dumpster near Ventura Boulevard and Rubio Avenue in Encino. The gruesome find was a woman’s torso.

The trail of evidence led the police to the Tarzana home of 35-year-old Sam Haskell IV, a descendant of the well-known Hollywood producer, Sam Haskell III.

The younger Haskell, whose family is known for their contribution to TV Christmas movies, now finds himself behind bars in a Los Angeles jail. His wife, three children, and in-laws were living with him at the time of his arrest. The children are reported to be safe.

However, Mei Haskell, Sam’s 37-year-old wife, and her parents, Goashan Li, 72, and Yanxiang Wang, 64, are nowhere to be found. LAPD Detective Efren Gutierrez confirmed that all attempts to reach them have failed.

While the identity of the recovered remains is yet to be confirmed, the police suspect they could be Mei’s. The presence of blood and other evidence at the home has added to this suspicion.

The police apprehended Sam Haskell IV at a mall in Canoga Park, a few hours after the body was found.

His father, Sam Haskell III, has had a long and illustrious career in Hollywood, representing stars like Dolly Parton and George Clooney, and winning an Emmy as a producer. However, his reputation was marred by a scandal involving derogatory emails about former Miss America winners.

Currently, Sam Haskell IV is being held without bail at the Van Nuys jail and is scheduled for a court appearance on Monday.
