Hollywood actor and his two daughters die in plane crash

ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – A tragic aviation accident occurred in the Caribbean on Thursday, claiming the lives of four individuals. Those who were killed during the incident include actor Christian Oliver and his two young daughters. The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force confirmed the tragedy, indicating that the small aircraft experienced difficulties shortly after takeoff from J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm, bound for St. Lucia, and ended up sinking in the ocean.

According to the police statement, the victims were 51-year-old Christian Klepser, actor known as Christian Oliver, his daughters Madita, 10, and Annik, 12, and Robert Sachs, the owner and pilot of the aircraft. Assistance was swiftly provided by local fishermen, divers, and the SVG Coast Guard, yet, sadly, all four individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

Oliver is acclaimed for his roles in films including “The Good German,” “Speed Racer,” “Valkyrie,” and “The Baby-Sitters Club.” A recent Instagram post displayed a beach picture along with a caption by Oliver reflecting his appreciation for life and love.

Colleague and co-actor Bai Ling expressed her profound grief on Instagram, reminiscing their last filming session in Hollywood on December 20, 2023.

The bodies have been transported to a mortuary where a post-mortem examination will be conducted. As reported by St. Vincent Times, several island residents described hearing a faltering noise produced by the aircraft upon takeoff.

The police assured their investigation is ongoing and expressed their condolences to those affected by the tragic occurrence. Representatives for Oliver have yet to comment on the unfortunate incident.
