Halloween party ends with 12 people shot, 1 dead

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A late-night Halloween festivity spiraled into chaos when gunshots rang out Saturday at Patty’s Event Center, resulting in one death and injuries to at least 12 others. The violent confrontation emerged during a party on South Agnew Avenue in Oklahoma City, near Will Rogers World Airport.

Authorities revealed that the shooting originated from a heated “verbal altercation” inside the venue, escalating to an outside shootout before continuing indoors. Police arrived to find one male casualty and multiple injured partygoers, two of whom remain in critical condition.

Multiple shooters were involved, with rifles reportedly used in the assault. Though numerous individuals have been detained, police continue their search for concrete leads and have yet to publicly identify any suspects.

Investigators are scrutinizing cellphone videos from witnesses as they work to reconstruct the sequence of events. The police ensured residents that this was not a random act, thus posing no prevailing public danger.

The incident has magnified concerns over safety at large personal gatherings, drawing attention to the necessary precautions to prevent conflict escalation.

As the investigation continues, law enforcement focuses on uncovering what sparked the argument and ensuring justice for the victims involved in this senseless act of violence.
