Four women kidnapped inside shipping container

SMITHFIELD TWP., PA – A couple of men are under arrest facing numerous charges following the abduction of four women in Smithfield Township, Pennsylvania, who were allegedly confined within a shipping container.

Detectives were able to locate the suspects after receiving insights from an informant on Tuesday. Davaun Carlon Jackson, 29, and Isaiah Rogers-Keeney, 19, face multiple charges such as kidnapping, rape, and other related offenses.

As per court documents, two of the abducted women had witnessed a shooting in Wilkes-Barre on Monday. They were later coerced by Jackson to enter a Ford Flex SUV under the threat of the “811 protocol”, allegedly a death threat. The vehicle, which was carrying two other women held captive, was reportedly driven by Rogers-Keeney to Jackson’s property in Monroe County’s Smithfield Township.

Upon reaching the location, the victims were tied up inside a property office. Under threats from Jackson wielding a chainsaw, sledgehammer, and axe, the abducted women were forced into sexual acts or to face the amputation of a body part. The court documents also state that a minimum of two victims were raped by Jackson in the shipping container where they were held.

However, on Tuesday morning, a few victims regained possession of their phones after they were let out of the container, which enabled two of them to break free after reaching out to a family member. The suspects fled with the other victims to Mount Pocono but were apprehended in a Walmart parking lot following police notification.

While the age group of the victims remains unknown, court records indicate the youngest one to be 17.

Both suspects were denied bail. Anyone with useful information about this case is urged to contact Pennsylvania State Police.
