Dead infant found on University of Tampa campus

TAMPA, FL – A tragic discovery was made on the University of Tampa’s campus this past Sunday when an abandoned infant’s body was uncovered near a freshman dormitory, according to local law enforcement.

The Tampa Police Department reported finding the deceased child at the university’s campus, located at 401 W. Kennedy Boulevard. Despite the unsettling discovery, a representative from the department reassured the public that there was no immediate threat or danger.

McKay Hall, the dormitory near where the infant’s body was found, is located in the heart of the university’s campus. The hall is home to approximately 160 first-year students, as per the University of Tampa’s official website.

Late Sunday night, local news reported seeing the police department’s forensics teams near the dormitory. The University of Tampa has yet to comment on the incident.
