Couple arrested for soliciting men for sex with toddler

GROVETOWN, GA – A Georgia couple has been arrested after allegedly attempting to solicit men online to engage in sexual acts with their 2-year-old daughter, authorities said.

Ashlee Crawley, 26, and James Tripp, 29, were taken into custody on Wednesday, according to Grovetown Police. Crawley faces charges of child molestation and violating the Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation and Prevention Act of 2007. Tripp has been charged with attempted incest and attempted child molestation.

Investigators received a tip that the couple was using the MeetMe chat platform to find men willing to engage in sexual activities with their young daughter. Further investigation revealed that Crawley had been producing and selling sexually explicit content on various online platforms, some of which featured her children, including the 2-year-old, for additional profit.

Authorities also discovered that Tripp had been planning to engage in sexual acts with his own daughter and was seeking Crawley’s permission to do so. The disturbing revelations led to the immediate removal of the children from the home by the Division of Family and Children Services.

Crawley and Tripp are currently held at the Columbia County Jail, where they are expected to face additional charges as the investigation continues.
