Boy kidnapped and held for ransom in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WI – Authorities in Milwaukee are delving into the intricate details of a kidnapping case involving a seven-year-old boy, with several suspects now in custody. Among them is Fabian Johnson, who recently appeared in court facing charges related to the incident.

According to police, Johnson, alongside two accomplices, devised a plan targeting the boy’s mother, a known drug dealer. On July 11, the trio waited at her residence, but when she failed to appear, they took a more drastic step. Surveillance footage captured the moment when armed individuals leaped from a white Jeep and abducted the child as he rode his bike near 61st and Huestis.

Investigators revealed that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of $100,000 and jewelry from the boy’s mother, Siobhan Williams. Despite the threats, she did not comply, and police later found the boy unharmed at the home of another suspect, Corey Williams, who has since been charged.

Siobhan Williams, now in custody, reportedly hindered the investigation by not cooperating with detectives. She has yet to face formal charges. Meanwhile, a 14-year-old has also been implicated and is due in court today.

As the case continues to unfold, Milwaukee police are urging the public to stay informed as more layers of this complex situation are unraveled.

In other news, first responders were dispatched to the Milwaukee River near Water Street following reports of a person in the water. The fire department’s search yielded no results, but police maintain an active investigation.

Additionally, Milwaukee police are seeking information regarding a shooting that claimed the life of a 26-year-old man near 55th and Custer. Details remain scarce as the investigation progresses.
